Frequently Asked

Honest answers to real questions—so you can feel informed, empowered, and ready to take the next step.

  • What are your fees?
Relational therapy sessions are $200. Individual therapy sessions are $175. A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available for BIPOC clients and others with financial need—please reach out to inquire about current availability.
  • Do you offer sliding scale or reduced fee options?
Yes. I reserve a small number of reduced-rate spots for BIPOC clients and others with financial need. If this would support your access to care, please ask about availability when reaching out.
  • Do you take insurance?
Yes. I currently accept Lyra Health, Cigna, and UC SHIP. If you’re not using insurance, I can also provide a superbill for potential reimbursement if your plan covers out-of-network providers.
  • Where are you located?
I’m based in Midtown Sacramento and work in-person as well as over tele-health. Sessions are offered virtually to clients across California, Washington State, and the United Kingdom, where I am licensed.
  • Do you do telehealth/virtual therapy?
Yes. All virtual sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. This allows for greater flexibility, comfort, and continuity of care across both California, Washington State, and the United Kingdom, where I am licensed.
  • What is your cancelation policy?
You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled session will be billed the full session fee.
  • How do I book an appointment?

  • What can I expect in my first session?
The first session is about getting to know you—what’s bringing you in, what you hope to change, and how I can support you. I’ll ask a few grounding questions, but we’ll move at your pace and focus on creating a space that feels safe, open, and real.
  • How do I know if you’re the right therapist for me?
Therapy is most effective when the fit feels right. Our free consultation gives us a chance to connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and make sure my approach aligns with your needs. If not, I’m happy to provide referrals.
  • What types of clients or issues do you specialize in?
I support individuals and partners working through: Anxiety, burnout, and life transitions Relational conflict and disconnection Sexual identity, body image, and intimacy Trauma, grief, and emotional overwhelm Exploring non-monogamy or redefining relationship structures I work with LGBTQIA+ clients, poly/kink communities, and those seeking deeper self-trust and connection. For more information start on my about page or explore my services pages.
  • How often will we meet, and for how long?
Sessions are 50 minutes long. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, though we’ll tailor the frequency based on your needs, goals, and what works for your life.
